Broadway: Dear Evan Hansen, Next to Normal, Grey Gardens, Taboo, Dance of the Vampires, The Rocky Horror Show. Off-Broadway and regional: Hedwig and the Angry Inch (NYC’s Jane Street Theatre and SF’s Victoria Theatre); Fly By Night (Dallas); Elvis: A Musical Revolution (Philly); Once Around the Sun (Zipper Theatre, NYC). TV credits include: “Billions,” “The Good Wife,” “Mr. Robot,” and “Gossip Girl.” Asa also wrote the libretto for the Duck Dynasty musical (Rio Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas) and Everyone Comes to Elaine’s (in development), both directed by Tony-nominee Jeff Calhoun, as well as the short play that sweet D, which premiered in 2023 at LA’s Towne Street Theatre.
